We are excited to announce our ninth and final exhibition of 2025

MARVEL
Marvel brings together seventeen contemporary artists to explore how wonder continues to shape visual culture in the Contemporary South. Adam du Shole, Ben Rouse, Sophia Sabsowitz, Nancy Blum, Saber Elser, Elliston Roshi, Krista Jones, Katie Aronat, Santi Saucedo, Chris May, Kat Gomez, Dan Gilstrap, LowKey, Leah Grace Craig, Luke Hamilton, Daisy-Anne Dickson, and Krista Grecco contribute works that range from atmospheric abstraction to tactile sculpture and conceptual inquiry. The artists collectively frame marvel as a renewed mode of attention.

The exhibition’s strength lies in its ability to balance variety with cohesion. Intricate works by Sabsowitz and Blum encourage close looking, while the chromatic intensity of Jones, Aronat, and Saucedo injects energy into the space. Elser and Roshi introduce symbolic complexity, and spatial interventions from May and Gomez recalibrate the viewer’s sense of form. Gilstrap, LowKey, Craig, Hamilton, Dickson, and Grecco extend the show’s emotional and material range, grounding the theme in texture, narrative, and expressive gesture.

Ultimately, Marvel positions wonder not as spectacle but as a subtle, creative force. Through seventeen distinct voices, the exhibition demonstrates how moments of curiosity— layered and bold— continue to fuel contemporary artistic practice.

Exhibition runs through January 16, 2026
