Jeffrey Wilcox Paclipan presents large-scale maximalist mixed-media works that transform discarded objects into vibrant sites of imagination. In his practice, marginalized puzzles, paper, plastic, cardboard, and toys are reclaimed and embedded into exuberant compositions. Once designed for consumption and disposal, these materials are reimagined as symbols of resilience and transformation, shifting from waste into playful explorations of identity and possibility.

Art story time…
In 2012, I met a budding curator/gallerist/printmaker Shaun McCallum @im_pressed as he was starting a print shop at the Goat Farm. A few years ago, Shaun had moved to Greenville SC to begin his own gallery @goodartcogvl and our #artband went to visit to discover an incredibly abundant and convivial space of creatives in the heart of Greenville. From artist studios to print shop to gallery to even a piano tucked at the end of a hallway for all to play.
It’s been a true joy seeing what can transpire when we help others step into their vision and path. I’m immensely grateful for the friendships that have been forged because of our gallery and the awesome gift of art by Shaun, a self portrait of him eating a burger as a part of a larger series of artists who eat.
If you find you’re in the Greenville area, pay them a visit, support their shop and artists and remember the impact you have by helping those in your sphere.
