I observe the layers of any given moment. In these works, I try to assimilate moments in time by compounding multiple transparent layers, each with their own markings. The subject matter is nearly purged of human form, expressed through conduits of power or complex organizational structures instead. Still the work is not meant to be devoid of human experience. I chose to use resin, both to stack the layers as well as to produce a reflective quality that will forever include the view in the art itself.
