Carl Linstrum: In this series, Carl explores the macroscopic and microscopic prism of landscapes. Through this body of 30 new art works begun during his stay at the Hambidge Residency Program, Carl explores contemporary explorations of luminous mixed media paintings through the lens of phone photography.

Larry Jens Anderson: In this series, Larry explores the act of drawing.  This collection of marks results in beautifully poignant images of animals.  The quiet simplicity of these drawings bring the viewer to a serene place of reflection and imaginative places.

Ashley L. Schick: In this series, Ashley explores mechanisms of communication and interconnection through her graceful abilities of cut paper and printmaking.  She captures the small and overlooked moments in our everyday life in both the Survey Shadows series as well as the On the Farm series.

We’d like to thank our wonderful sponsors for making our opening a success: WHOLE FOODS BUCKHEAD for providing organically wholesome hor d’oeuvres, SVEDKA VODKA offering complimentary Svedka cocktails!  Thank you also to RED HARE BREWERY and DUVEL for the delicious beer!
