Please join us as we celebrate our upcoming exhibition of POP!

exhibit will run through September 7thClick here to RSVP on our Facebook page
POP! is a four artist solo exhibit featuring SCAD graduates Lucha Rodriguez and Nathan Sharratt in addition to abstract cut-paper artist Jon Arge and Cartoon Network artist Richard Tapp.
Lucha Rodriguez born in Venezuela, Lucha received her MFA in printmaking from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her organically-inspired pink “creaturettes” are an extravagant symbolism of the body as it relates to the metaphysical. Our window display will be filled with a POP! of pink as Lucha wonderfully creates a surreal and immersive environment.
Nathan Sharratt is fucking awesome. As an artist that works through the exploration of the common denominators on a primordial level, Nathan’s works for POP! takes the viewer through the humor, wit and play of popular music through the layering of laser-cut vinyl letters in a vibrant array of color and depth. Nathan studied from Pratt Institute and received his BFA in Sculpture at SCAD.
Richard Tapp seeks to illustrate the human experience through paint, clay and polymer. A methodically contemplative thinker, Tapp views himself as more than an artist. He is a designer walking through the subconscious landscape of thoughts and visions. Tapp’s characters and figures are generated organically through a meticulous process of layering, painting, and drying.
Jon Arge excels in absolutely nothing beyond self-expression. He exists solely on the surface of his creations. He is form over function. He is a hollow space with a shiny exterior. Voted Best Local Artist by GA Voice, Jon’s latest body of works featured his meticulously designed, layered cut paper pieces in an explosion of color that can only make you smile.
We’d like to thank our wonderful sponsors for making our opening a success: WHOLE FOODS BUCKHEAD for providing organically wholesome hor d’oeuvres, SVEDKA VODKA offering complimentary Svedka Rasberry Lemonades and Svedka Skinny Coladas!
