The gallery is hosting weekly craft classes in our shop, with offerings ranging from introductory sewing & knitting classes to basic life mending & patching skills classes for men. Class sizes are small and the schedule changes monthly, so you’re sure to find something that works with your needs and schedule.
Sarah Lodato is the face behind the Atlanta Institute of Stitches & Crafts, in collaboration with her husband Thomas Lodato. Their love for crafting goes hand-in-hand with their passion for re-purposing vintage finds and creating beautiful handmade goods.
Why craft at Kai Lin Art? We have a passion for the arts and creativity in our community. The ability and passion to create something by hand is something our artists understand and practice. You can find a representative of the Atlanta Institute of Stitches & Crafts at the gallery the following days and times:
Tuesdays | 12:00 – 6:00 pm
Wednesdays | 12:00 – 8:00 pm
Saturdays | 12:00 – 6:00 pm
Sundays | 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Every Wednesday night the gallery is open from 6:00-8:00pm for Craft Assembly, an open craft night for the masses! Bring your current project or ideas to craft with others. No registration required!
If you have any inquiries about the craft classes & supplies, please feel free to contact Sarah Lodato at sarah@kailinart.com and visit their website at www.stitchesandcrafts.com for a current schedule & class descriptions.
We hope to see you in class soon, and we invite you to stop by Kai Lin Shop to see our new additions and layout!
